What I Ate Wednesday # 27

What I Ate Wednesday # 27

We got our rainy day. This means lots of cuddles on the couch. I cannot wait. My girls and I really need some down time, so this perfect. We have been go, go, going for days.

I cannot believe it is Wednesday already. I feel like this week has just begun. I hope these next few weeks go just as quickly, I am beyond ready to meet our healthy little twins. Hopefully, we still have another month. They are not ready to come into the world just yet.

Lately, I have not been very hungry. I think these babies are taking up a lot of room in my belly and not leaving much space for food. My meals have been pretty blah. I am still making sure to hit my protein, which has been difficult because I am just not hungry.

Meal # 1 – 7:30

Sophia requested waffles and of course she wanted to help make the batter. Her and I made Greek Yogurt Waffles. Yum! (15 grams of protein)

Snack # 1 – 9:30

I really didn’t feel like eating, but because it was dance day I knew I wouldn’t be able to eat for awhile, so I had to eat something. I decided to grab a luna bar and a glass of milk. (20 grams protein)

Meal # 2 – 12:00

Leftovers of grilled some chicken, corn, and potatoes. I liked having some chicken breast already grilled, it was easy and delicious. I think we are going to have to start cooking up some food at the beginning of the week. (35 grams of protein)

Snack # 2 – 3:00

Our favorite afternoon snack is always a bowl of fruit. We love to snuggle after Isabella’s nap and enjoy some fruit.

Meal # 3 – 5:30

Nana made us dinner on Monday night, so we had the leftovers tonight. She made us Cashew/Almond Chicken. It was once again amazing. (30 grams of protein)

Total Water: 128 ounces

In the Comments Below:

  1. Are you a leftovers person? If so what are some of your favorite foods to eat as leftovers?
  2. Do you like to cook some chicken or other foods at the beginning of the week and use it for easy meals throughout the week? If so do you find it helpful?

I almost always cook up a 1/2 bag or whole bag of boneless chicken breast/tenders to use for the week and it cuts my cooking time WAY down. Next week, I am going to start meal planning too so I’m excited about that 🙂

    • That sounds wonderful. I really need to start doing that, especially once the twins arrive. I think it will make eating healthy easier. 🙂

I wish I was into leftovers, but I’m just not. I’ll do anything to avoid eating them, even if it means running out to the deli for a sandwich! I need to break out of this habit – maybe after baby girl gets here in September!

    • I go through phases with eating leftovers. I definitely don’t like eating leftovers from restaurants, for some reason, but I do like chicken. I think I have to start meal planning once the twins arrive. 🙂
