Valentine’s Day 2013

Happy Valentine’s Day! I know I am a day late, but we were so busy having a family day, I couldn’t get a second post out. I am sorry. πŸ™‚

Valentine’s day to me is a day to remind us to tell those we love how much we love them. I do feel everyday should be Valentine’s day, but it is always nice to have this reminder once a year.

My wonderful husband always sends me or shall I say us girls beautiful flowers. This year was no exception. The doorbell rang in the morning and weΒ receivedΒ 1 1/2 dozen red roses. Sophia thought she was so special and I told her that it is because we love her and Isabella so much and they are our special little girls. She proceeded to tell me she is a big girl and Bella is still a baby. She makes me laugh.

After getting our flowers, the girls and I began making our Valentine’s Day cards. Homemade cards are the best.

This was such a wonderful Valentine’s Day! There is nothing like the love of a family. We are so blessed to have each other.

I hope all of you had a wonderful day yesterday. Did you do anything special? Do you like to go out or would you rather have a quiet night at home?

Beautiful flowers and adorable cards! I can’t wait until my nugget can cut and do more artsy stuff. We try but he’s just so messy!

    • Thank you. Sophia is finally at an age that crafts are so much fun. Bella is still a little difficult. πŸ™‚ I can’t wait until spring when we can paint outside!
