First and foremost, I send my thoughts and prayers to all those affected by the awful tornado that went through Oklahoma. Thank you to all the wonderful heroes that were there to help.
Happy Tuesday everyone. I hope everyone’s week is off to a great start. We have had a busy couple of days I am ready to relax. I know it sounds crazy but I am ready for some rain. I need an excuse not to go outside and have a cuddle day. 🙂
We were supposed to get rain all day today and tomorrow, but so far no signs of rain. We will have to see what happens.
Sophia and Isabella turn two and four in June. Oh my! I can’t even think about it for a few reasons; I haven’t ordered invitations, I haven’t ordered a cake, a bounce house, a piñata, you get the point. Basically, the only thing I have thought of is the date of the party. I really need to get my act together. I have just been exhausted and so busy. I seriously have no idea where my days go, but they have been flying by too quickly.
One thing I do know is what they want for their birthday. So, I thought I would give you a look at my girls lists.
Sophia – 4 years old & Isabella – 2 years old

Anything remotely Barbie related. Right now Barbies are huge with us. She has been asking for the Dream House, but I think we are going to wait until Christmas for that one. I think it would be a better gift for her and Isabella and they will be 2 1/2 and 4 1/2; much better ages for it.
- She has also been asking for the Barbie Princess Charm School and the Barbies that go with it. I think that is a good place to start.
- Grocery Stand – My girls played with this one at a friends birthday party and loved it. I am having a difficult time finding it. It is out of stock and the One Step Ahead website. But it truly is a great gift for girls or boys.
- Cash Register – To go with the grocery stand, of course.
- Melissa and Doug Wooden Block Set – My girls love to stack and build.
- More Lincoln Logs – We already have one set, but my girls love them so much and are always running out of logs. We definitely need more sets of logs. I think the girls will like this pink girly set to add to our collection.
- Legos– These are always a hit in our house.
- Golf Clubs – Sophia got a set like these last year and loves them. She loves to go to the putting green and practice with her Papa or Daddy.
- Princess Costumes – We love to dress up in princess costumes of any kind. Sophia and Isabella has been into mermaids lately, so I think this year the Ariel costume would be a wonderful addition.
- Tiaras – We definitely need more of these. Right now the girls always want the same one, which never ends well.
Oh this list could go on and on. I love toys. I wish I would buy everything for my girls. But I don’t for a few reasons; I don’t want to spoil them and I don’t want to go broke. 🙂
As always, thank you Gisele for hosting. Head on over to My Healthy Happy Home and see what everyone else is doing for Toddler Tuesday. Gisele has a wonderful toddler activity on her blog today; go check it out!

If you have a toddler or preschooler what are some toys they are a into right now? What would you add?
My Rylnn LOVES to play grocery…He would absolutely adore that grocery stand 🙂
It is a wonderful one. Seriously, my girls loved it, but now I can’t find anywhere to buy it. They are sold out. AHHH!
These gifts make me want a little girl! Love all the pink and princess stuff! So cute! I’m a huge fan of Melissa and Doug toys and buy them for The Love Nugget whenever I can. I like the natural wood over the plastic toys. So much better!
Oh my, pink is pretty much all we do. Haha! They are both into everything girly. I love Melissa and Doug toys too. I would buy everything they make if I wouldn’t go broke. 🙂
