Good evening everyone. I can’t believe I am actually writing two posts today. Whoo hoo!! It feels good that McKenzie and McKayla are getting to the age I can actually have time to write more. Since, it is Monday it is time for Marvelous in My Monday.
We had a wonderful holiday weekend. Steve has been off work since Thursday, so we have had a lot of family time.
We has McKenzie and Mckayla’s first birthday party on Saturday at Mimi and Papa’s house and it was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better day to celebrate our two little girls. I still can’t believe they are one; our babies are one!! Oh my.
We decided to keep it simple and order food from Qdoba. It was delicious and a nice change from all the summer BBQs, however I do love my BBQs.
We had lots of bounce house fun. McKayla, was not interested, but McKenzie loved it.
I just love watching these two interact with each other. It is precious.
and of course there was cake
McKayla decided she was all done.
Opening gifts with little ones is always exciting.
Fighting over Mama.
Loving their new toys. Happy girls!!
Sophia and Isabella had to make s’mores or mores (as Isabella says) with Papa. This is one of their favorite things to do at Mimi and Papa’s house.
I want to take a moment and thank all of our family and friends for making McKenzie and Mckayla’s first birthday so special. They are blessed to have each and every one of you in their lives. Our day couldn’t have been more perfect. I especially want to thank my mom and dad for hosting their party for us. We appreciate everything you do for us and we definitely wouldn’t have made it through this year without both of you in our lives. You are always here when we need you and that’s a lot these days. You are the most amazing parents and we strive to be as marvelous are you are to us. We love you very much. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
McKenzie and Mckayla’s one year old birthday letter will be coming soon. Hopefully, later this week. I also plan on writing up a post all about our first year with twins. I feel like I always have so much to share with you and just not enough time. But I promise I will get all this written up ASAP!!
Oh and I must tell you one more marvelous thing about how weekend. Sophia, Isabella, and myself went to our subdivision pool Sunday afternoon and Sophia rode her bike there and back; it was amazing. I am so proud of her.
and our Isabella loves riding in the stroller, eating her fruit.
Thank you for all your kind messages regarding McKenzie and Mckayla’s surgery today. I can’t even begin to tell you how marvelous everything went. I will go into details tomorrow. Thank you for all your love and support.
