Happy Monday everyone. We had a wonderful weekend. Nice and relaxing; just as the doctor ordered. š It is a good thing the weather has not been niceĀ or resting would be a lot more difficult.
Thank you Katie at Healthy Dive Life for hosting Marvelous in My Monday. I love looking back at marvelousĀ happenings in my life.
Our weekend began with a relaxing Saturday morning. My parents offered to take the girls to swim class so Steve and I could have a relaxing morning. Trust me they love to do it. Of course, the one weekend neither Steve nor I go Sophia does so well so gets promoted to the next level. I am so proud of my little fish, but I am sad to have missed it. I can’t believe how quickly Sophia is growing up. It is marvelous to watch my little baby grow into a wonderful little girl.
Saturday night Steve made me a delicious dinner of chicken penne pasta. It was delicious and I didn’t have to lift a finger.
My cousins from Chicago sent us Flat Stanley to spend the week with us. The girls had so much fun taking pictures with him. But Sophia wanted to know why he had to be a boy. She kept asking why we couldn’t have been given a girl. Haha. We are definitely a house of girls. š
Sunday was another relaxing day we went to church and Sunday school, then simply relaxed. I haven’t been sleeping well at night so I took an amazing nap and when I woke up Steve has cleaned the entire kitchen. It was aĀ marvelous treat.
Steve and Sophia loved snuggling and watching the masters all weekend long.
This morning we had our weekly ultrasound and the twins looks amazing. They are continuing to grow and their fluids are staying steady. My cervix hasn’t shortened any more. Everything was perfect.
Life is truly marvelous. I will always try to look for theĀ good in everything situation. My mom always told me everything happens forĀ a reason, sometimes we don’t know what the reason is at the time, but there is a reason.
