I can’t believe Christmas has come and gone. It is crazy how much anticipation leads up to Christmas and then how quickly it’s over. It’s pretty much like any other big event. As a mother, I get stressed out about my girls having fun and loving their day. This year was a success. Sophia told us that she wished every day could be Christmas. Now, there were a few moments I wasn’t so sure we were going to succeed in giving Sophia a wonderful Christmas, but somehow we pulled it off.
We had quite the busy day. It began at our house with opening presents, we then proceeded to Steve’s mom and stepdad’s house, then off to my parent’s house, we then went to Nana’s house, and last but not least my grandma’s house (or Gigi as you may know her by on the blog). Quite a few stops, but all of them are so wonderfully spent with our family. We truly enjoy our Christmas day, yes it is a crazy one, but so much fun. As the years go on and the girls get older this may have to stop, but for now it is working.
Here are some pictures from our day:
Sophia was awake early excited to see what Santa has left, but her sister didn’t have quite the same idea. So, we decided to curl her hair before going downstairs. (I was trying to stall so Isabella could sleep a little bit longer; we still ended up having to wake her.)
Isabella’s bedhead makes me smile.
Isabella’s quote of Christmas “Yay, I got a box, my favorite”. 🙂 And Isabella said that line with such excitement, it was the sweetest thing!!
McKenzie and McKayla watching their big sisters open up presents.
Sophia modeling her new dress. Her and bitty baby can match now!!
Being silly with Uncle Fran.
We love Papa!!
It is so bittersweet to me that Christmas is over. I love Christmas and it always see to go so fast. It’s time to move on and look into the new year. This one has been amazing I can’t wait to see what we have in store for the next 12 months.
Now I have to figure out where all our new toys are going. Oh my!!
Now, we start looking forward to our big Disney trip. Next week I will fill you in on what I am already doing to prepare for the six of us to go to Disney World.
