Welcome to Fit for Motherhood. My name is Renee, I’m 27 years old. I married Steve, the most wonderful man, in April of 2007. I’m a stay-at-home mom to our two little girls, Sophia, three and Isabella, one. I am pregnant with identical twin girls coming summer 2013.
Before becoming a stay-at-mom I was a 6th grade English teacher. I loved teaching and hope to one day get back into the classroom. I also love writing but truly haven’t written much of anything since Sophia was born in 2009.

I have a love for health and fitness. I try to workout at least five days a week, it doesn’t always happen. As a busy mom of two working out feels like my only “me time”. Sometimes I feel guilty, but most of the time it just feels good to do something for myself. I workout in many different ways so I know no matter what I can always find time to move at some point throughout the day. I have also figured out a way to eat my favorite foods in a healthier way.
On this blog I will share my fitness routines, mom moments, and of course some yummy recipes. I am by no means a fitness expert, chef, or the perfect mom. But I will share my journey through health, fitness, and motherhood, hopefully, you will share yours with me, as well. We can teach each other somethings along the way.
As we continue on our journey together I will share some things about my life that have shaped me into who I am today.
