Happy Wednesday everyone. I hope your week is going well, we are having a wonderful week over here. Despite the runny noses everyone has been in great moods. We have been loving life.
Today’s typical eating routine was a little off. I had to get some blood drawn and tests done for our life insurance (now that we have four girls we decided I needed more life insurance) so I had to fast for 12 hours. It was tough. My appointment was not until 11, but luckily they called and changed it to 9:30am, much better. Okay now that you know my eating will be a little off here goes What I Ate Wednesday.
Breakfast – 10:00am
Since, I woke up at 5:30am to workout, by this time I was starving. I seriously could have eaten everything in the house. But, I knew I wanted to keep it healthy so I made some Greek yogurt waffles, followed by a poached egg.
Snacks – 12:00pm
Isabella and I shared a bowl of fruit.
Snack – 2:00
Since, breakfast was late today I didn’t really have lunch. But, I did have a few snacks throughout the afternoon. I had a paleo protein bar with some mini peanut butter crackers.
Snack 4:00pm
Carrots, turkey, and hummus.
Dinner – 5:30pm
I wasn’t starving and didn’t feel like much, so I made a chicken hotdog with a sweet potato (I always make up several at a time for the girls and myself).
These are delicious.
Dessert – 7:30
Single Serve Chocolate Cake – So, I have been slowly cutting out the sugar on this cake and now I don’t even need any in it. I seriously, don’t miss it one bit. I love that I can have my cake with no added sugar. Cutting the ice cream out is another story.
As you know I have been experimenting with my healthy eating lately. I am trying to find what works for me and my lifestyle. I have been reading many articles and learning as much as possible about healthy eating and exercise. One thing I am working on is adding more protein into my day. As you read my what I ate Wednesdays hopefully you will notice a major bump in that department.
