What I Ate Wednesday # 45

Happy Wednesday everyone. I am so excited I went to the gym all by myself. That has only happened a handful of times in the last few weeks. I did a little cardio and some weights. I am going to post today’s workout on Friday, I loved today’s routine. I feel best when I have more muscle on my body, so my focus for now is going to be resistance training. I am concentrating on pilates, weights, HIIT, circuit training, and yoga. These are all my favorite forms of exercise. Throughout all my years I’ve learned exercise has to be something you like to do. If you don’t like it you won’t do it.

In my eating disorder days I used to do kill my body and force myself to workout. I never want to be in that place again. Being fit is supposed to make you feel good and be good for you. I am going to start adding running in as soon as I get a handle on everything.

Wow, I feel so much better after I get a little exercise in and today was no exception.

Since, it is Wednesday it is time to talk about food.

Breakfast 9:00

I know breakfast was crazy late! My mom came over, got Sophia and Isabella out of bed so I slept in with McKenzie and McKayla.

I made oatmeal protein pancakes.

Snack 12:00

Sophia had dance yesterday morning. Since, my mom was at our house Sophia and I went all by ourselves. We had a little Sophia and Mommy time. After dance we had to stop and pick up our picture CD from the photographer (I will post some pictures tomorrow). I told her she could have a treat and we deiced to pick up frostys for Isabella and Mimi too.

I cannot remember the last time I had a frosty but I must say it was tasty.

I forgot to take a before picture, so here is my lovely empty glass.

Lunch 2:00

After having a frosty I wasn’t very hungry so it took my awhile until I was ready for lunch. Even then I wasn’t too hungry so I had a bowl of cereal and some fruit.

Snack 4:00

I knew I couldn’t make it to dinner, so I had a turkey wrap with cheese and hummus to hold me over. I also had a little “booty”, as we call it.

Dinner 6:00

Thanks to another wonderful neighbor we enjoyed some delicious lasagna. The meal also included salad and bread. We have eaten several different lasagnas since having McKenzie and McKayla and I have to say everyones has been different in a wonderful way. Lasagna is right up there with being my favorite meal.

  1. A frosty!?! I haven’t had one of those in ages! Actually, when I was pregnant I was craving one like crazy so I caved and got a Jr. It was soo good!

    Sounds like some delicious eats! That is awesome that you went to the gym by yourself!!! I bet it felt amazing!!! I still haven’t been to the gym yet. Going to start going in the New Year when the babies are 7 months…that way I think I’ll then feel comfortable to leave them at the gym nursery. I can’t wait to do more weights though and feel sore from it! Ahh! 🙂 For now I’m walking with the babies and doing *some* at home workouts. Just mainly soaking up these babies are enjoying every moment with them. You are doing the same…I am so impressed by how you are doing with four girls! Great job!

    • It is so freeing to go all by myself. I feel so renewed after I go; like I can conquer anything. 🙂 I know what you mean waiting until the babies are older, I am trying to figure out the right time for us too!! Thank you. Soaking it all up is definitely what I try to do, but it is difficult with four. 🙂
