I want to start off by thanking all of you for your kind and caring comments and emails. We are truly blessed to have so many people praying for us. All of your words of encouragement mean the world to me. I am beyond touched. Thank you for your support.
As most of you know we had a very tough day on Monday. Which means my meals on Tuesday were a little off and I didn’t take many pictures. I also didn’t eat as much as I should have, but I have had no appetite since hearing the news yesterday. I know it is still important for me to continue eating the correct amount of protein and drinking a gallon of water. These are the doctors orders. I will do everything I can to protect and save our babies.
Breakfast 7:30
Well, I couldn’t make waffles yesterday morning because my waffle iron has been acting up. All of a sudden all my waffles have started sticking. Instead, I made my Greek Yogurt Waffle recipe in pancake form and they were still delicious. I am sorry I didn’t take a picture. (23 grams of protein)
Snack 9:30
Poached egg on toast. (7 grams of protein)
Lunch 11:30
A salad with turkey, sliced almonds, sprinkle of cheese, and homemade pita croutons. (15 grams)
Snack 1:30
Homemade pita chips with hummus and string cheese. I am sorry I didn’t take a picture again. (10 grams protein)
Snack 3:30
Dinner 6:00
We wanted a nice homemade meal tonight since next week while we are in Philadelphia we will be eating all of our meals out. Tonight, I just wanted a nice healthy dinner. Steve grilled us steaks and I made some roasted red skin potatoes, broccoli, carrots, and zucchini. It was a great dinner, but I forgot to take a picture. My heart just wasn’t in it today. I am sorry I will pull it together at some point. I am not sure when that is going to happen, but hopefully sooner then later. (48 grams of protein)
We need to get to Philadelphia and talk to the specialists. We need to begin taking some action. I will feel better once we know our plan of attack. Right now I feel helpless and sad.
