I know, I know…
yesterday, I didn’t update you on my weekly workouts and I’m sorry. It’s been quite crazy around here with the start of school and I just didn’t have time to get it done. And I don’t know about you, but holiday weekends just throw me off. Whenever Steve is home I forget what day we are on. Ha!!

- Monday 8-31-15: Bodyrock 30 Day Real Time Challenge Day 23

- Sunday 9-6-15: Rest
As, you can see last week I finished up Bodyrock’s 30 Day Challenge and I must say my body was exhausted. I have been working out hard since January, that’s a long time. I decided I need a break, my body and mind needed to take some time off and most of all I needed some extra sleep (This week I have actually been waking up before my 6am alarm). So, I am taking a rest from all formal workouts this week, but with 4 kids I am still VERY active. I am also still eating clean and healthy; that’s just apart of my lifestyle.
Yes, this is what my day of steps looked like today. No, formal exercise whatsoever.
I have also decided I need to assess my caloric intake. I think I may be more active then I realize and I may not be eating enough. I am a firm believer in listening to your body. While I was struggling with my eating disorder I definitely didn’t listen to my body, but today I am a different person. I am someone who wants to be healthy all around. I want my girls to see a strong, healthy Mama.
Healthy Meals from Last Week
Our meals weren’t very exciting or new last week. But, these are my new favorites.
Banana Bread Protein Pancakes – These have seriously become a favorite in our house.
Easy Meatloaf Muffins – I just made another batch of these tonight and they are so good. I just love how quick they are to make and then I have healthy protein options throughout the week.
I am obsessed with my Green Beans and Carrots. I actually cut the butter and oil in half and you can’t even tell. I could seriously eat this all day long. YUM!!
In the Comments Below:
- Tell me all about your workouts.
- Do, you ever take a full week off from workouts? How do you implement your rest days?
That’s what my day looks like without going to the gym as well. I love that part of my commute to work is walking and I also try to walk for 30 minutes for my lunch break. I usually take 2 rest days a week, though I try to walk and stretch on those two days so they are active rest days.
It’s exhausting. Ha!! 🙂
