Good morning everyone. I have been getting a ton of messages and emails lately asking about my workouts these days. So, I thought I would follow Ashley’s lead and start sharing them on Mondays. Now, I can’t promise this will happen every Monday, but I will definitely try my best.
Workouts From Last Week
- Monday 8-24-15: Bodyrock 30 Day Real Time Challenge Day 16
- Tuesday 8-25-15: Bockrock 30 Day Real Time Challenge Day 17
- Wednesday 8-26-15: Bodyrock 30 Day Real Time Challenge Day 18
- Thursday 8-27-15: P90X Kenpo (The 30 day challenge says to run for 40 minutes, but I just can’t get that in with the girls and my hubby’s schedule.)
- Friday 8-28-15: Body By Bethenny Yoga (I did this yoga workout years ago, when it was free on ONDEMAND and love it. So, I finally decided to buy it and I am not disappointed. It is definitely not as difficult as I remember (I must be getting stronger then I realize), but it’s a great video for an active rest day.)
- Saturday 8-29-15: Rest
- Sunday 8-30-15: Bodyrock 30 Day Real Time Challenge Day 22
As, you can see I have been following the Bodyrock 30 Day Real Time Challenge. It truly kicks my booty and I love it. I love how fast the time goes. These are HIIT style videos, so you are changing ever 30-40 seconds. You can do anything for 30 seconds. Most videos are about 60 minutes; a few are shorter and a couple are longer, but all doable. I can’t even tell you how much I have liked these last 20 days and I will definitely do it again. Next Tuesday, once this challenge ends I am going to give my body a recovery week (yoga and pilates) then start up another challenge. I am not sure which one yet, but I will let you know as soon as I decide.
Meals From Last Week:
Steve, worked late a couple nights and had golf league, which means we didn’t have big dinners very often this past week. When it’s just the girls and me I usually keep it easy.
Monday: Mini Meatloaf Muffins (I try to always keep these in the fridge) with green beans
Tuesday: A salad with turkey, almonds, walnuts, and a splash of dressing (a tablespoon to be exact)
Wednesday: Egg whites, sweet potatoes, and green beans
Thursday: Paleo Crockpot Cashew Chicken with a side of rice.
Friday: Egg whites, sweet potatoes with green beans and carrots. (Yes, I had this two nights this week, it’s easy and delicious. Like I said when I am on my own I keep it simply.)
I hope that answers everyone’s questions and maybe gives you some fresh ideas. I will check in later for a Marvelous in My Monday post. Talk to you soon, have a wonderful day!!
