Thinking Out Loud # 73 – A day late

I can’t believe it’s Friday, this week went by FAST, but I kind of needed that. You see this week was very busy; Steve worked a lot and I was on Mom duty all by myself A LOT!!

Thinking-Out-Loud (3)

  1. I’m sorry this is a day late, but last night was my monthly bunco night and I just didn’t get this post up. Oh how I love my ladies night once a month; it was just what I needed. The littlest things refresh me and get ready to start another day.
  2. McKenzie and McKayla have been obsessed with carrying Sophia and Isabella’s backpacks. It really is the cutest thing.think - backpack mckayla think - backpack mckayla 2
  3. Today was picture day at Isabella’s school AND it was the first day in awhile that she didn’t cry scream when I left. My poor girl. It seriously breaks my heart every time. When Isabella gets upset I just want to tell her she doesn’t have to go, I want to pick her up and run the other way. I want her to stay with me ALL day, but I know that is not the best thing for her. So, I have to pull it together and get her to school as happily as possible. The crying began a couple of weeks ago and of course Mama cried too (I did hold it together for her, but once she was in her class I couldn’t hold it any more and once I got in the car the tears wouldn’t stop coming. I know I am such a baby, but when it comes to my girls I can’t help it.). Today was AMAZING and peaceful, I was one happy Mama.think - isabella school
  4. After getting Isabella to school the babes and I headed over to Sophia’s school to cheer her on. Today was her school’s fun run. It was rainy and cold, but we wouldn’t have missed it for the world. I know this was a simply event, but I want my girls to know Mama will always be there and so will your sisters. Now, I know as the years go on there may be things I can’t make it to, but I will surely try my best. I want my girls to learn that they will support their sisters no matter what. We are each others biggest cheerleaders.think - fun run sophia 2015 think - umbrella mckenzie mckayla
  5. Okay, does anyone watch Days of Our Lives? It’s my guilty pleasure and boy is it driving me crazy lately. The story line is intense. What do you think is going to happen? When will the truth come out? I can’t stand all the secrets and just want justice. AHHHHH!!
  6. We have a fun weekend planned. It all starts with our first Halloween event of the season on Saturday and then a relaxing Sunday. My only hardship is wrangling two toddlers at church; I just don’t think I can put them in the nursery again.

{Today, I’m linking up with Amanda for Thinking Out Loud}
