Ashley over at Little Miss Momma posted a couple of days ago about “Things You Should Know About Her” and asked her readers to share some things as well.
Things You Should Know About Me…
I love to eat the same things day in and day out. I always look at a menu before going to a restaurant. Change can drive me crazy; when it comes to food.
I measure out just about everything I eat.
Noise and chaos don’t bother me. Sometimes I barely notice when my girls are being loud.
I am super sensitive and I hate when people aren’t happy. I always want to please everyone. I re-think every conversation I have with people and hope I didn’t say anything wrong. It is nuts I know.
I drink a lot of water.
I only drink water, with the occasional glass of wine (when I am not pregnant). I don’t drink anything with caffeine in it. After the twins come I might need to start drinking coffee.
After Sophia was born I became a germaphobe and disinfected everything. Now, that I have two I have defiantly eased up a little. However, certain things will always gross me out.
I hate yogurt, but I use it in a ton of recipes. I have tried it time and time again, I really want to like it, but I just can’t. My girls on the other hand love it and could eat it morning, noon, and night.
I love snow, but hate the cold.
I may seem confident, but honestly I am very shy and always second guess myself.
I rarely swear, never really have.
I love my sleep, always have and always will.
I have to have a hot breakfast everyday. I have had one everyday since I was little.
I only wash my hair once every three days, body showers are my savior.
I was a drama queen, high maintenance, etc. when I was younger, but when I became a wife and a mom everything changed. Things happen and we just go with it. I am a much better person and try to be everyday. Sophia is just like me. AHHH! So, at least I know one day she will fine.
I am a homebody. I love to be home, especially with the people I love.
I am a procrastinator, but I always usually get things done on time.
I love being a stay at home mom, but there are many days I have no idea what I am doing. Sometimes I picture myself on a stranded island all alone and I am totally okay with that. But, I wouldn’t change my l life for anything in the world. My girls are my everything.
We have pajama days A LOT! Sometimes I even let my girls go to the store in their PJs. I know awful.
I could eat peanut butter out of the jar by the spoonful if I let myself, but I won’t eat a peanut.
I had an eating disorder in high school and college, but I am a much healthier person now. Being a mother has truly made me who I am, in a good way. Healthy, happy, and grounded.
My toy filled house makes me want to scream sometimes, but I get over it quickly. A messy house means happy kids. Right? At least that’s what I keep telling myself.
I have clothes in my closet from high school. Hey, you never know when something might come back in style.
I always have to brush my teeth for the full two minutes and floss afterward or I feel dirty.
I swore I would never drive a minivan. Well guess what? I do now and every time I drive it I think to myself this is amazing, but it’s still a van. Haha! You can read all about getting it here.
I am very sentimental and hate to throw things away.
I love grocery stores. I could just walk around looking at different food forever.
I can’t make a decision if my life depended on it. Okay, maybe if my life depended on it. But, seriously I am so indecisive.
I could live off fruit, almost any kind. I love it.
I love online shopping. The UPS guy knows me by name.
Blogging has become something I do for myself. I love having this little space to be me.

thank you for being honest and for this post 🙂 Gosh we are very similar 🙂
Your welcome, sometimes it is so hard to be completely vulnerable, but is was freeing at the same time. I love that we have so much in common. It is nice to have readers who understand my craziness.
Love this! We are so similar in so many ways. I too am a major pleaser and worry about everyone being happy. Our wedding was pretty much planned around making sure everyone had a good time! I also had an eating disorder many moons ago but am healthy and happy now 🙂
Thank you. It is so wonderful finding people who understand you and know how you feel. I wish we lived near each other I think we would be great friend. 🙂 I am sorry to hear you had an eating disorder, but I think it made us who we are today.
Love this! We are very similar. I am a person of routine and eat the same thing day in and day out, too. Peanut butter is my weakness and I could definitely eat it by the spoonful all day long (if I let myself!). My husband says I am the most indecisive person he knows. I can never make a decision! 🙂
I love how honest you are and seeing things we have in common, especially the never swearing. When I was in 5th grade, I had a friend in middle school and she started swearing that year and told me “oh you’ll start when you get to middle school” and I said “no I won’t” and still don’t swear and never will.
