September 2017

Hello, Hello

Wow, it has been way too long and I am so sorry. I have truly missed blogging, but this break was much needed. Life just got beyond busy and being a mom and wife is ALWAYS my priority. It my reason for living each and every day.

With the start of school, activities and life in general September had been crazy. However, we are finally getting into a groove. I’m not going to lie though getting all four out the door ready for school by 8am is quite the task. But, each and everyday it gets easier and easier. Our routine is coming together perfectly.

McKayla and McKenzie have been going to school 3 days a week for 3 hours a day and I am not sure how I feel about it. I know I should be loving my alone time, but quite frankly I am NOT. I miss my little buddies. I miss my shadows. I am slowly getting used to it, but that doesn’t mean it gets any easier and it doesn’t mean I have to like it. I just don’t think I will ever like not being with my girls.

Life Lately…

McKayla and McKenzie were beyond excited to have their very own book orders. Circling books is serious stuff in our house.

School is exhausting

They nap…

I drink more coffee. How much is too much?!? When should I worry?

I  live for these after nap snuggles.

I love waking up to these two holding hands. The love between twins is miraculous.

The firetruck came to visit McKayla and McKenzie’s school this week and boy did they not like it. Their teachers told me they were terrified. McKenzie cried the entire time and of course McKayla didn’t leave her side. But, they sure did love their helmets.

I can’t believe how grown up Isabella looks. Where did my baby go?

And this girl. Really?!? They can stop growing up any time now.

Since, school started we have definitely been seeing Mimi and Papa much less, but when we do we make every second count.

Shopping with my girls is still one of my favorite past times.

Any store will do…

they sure do love it…

September wouldn’t be complete without celebrating Snicky’s (McKayla’s new puppy) birthday. {These banana chocolate chip muffins are amazing and so easy}

This weekend Sophia and I are headed to Denver to visit my brother, sister-in-law and niece. I CANNOT wait to spend alone time with my Sophia. But, of course mom guilt for leaving my other girls behind is killing me too. But, Daddy has lots of fun activities planned for them. And I know this is one weekend Sophia and I will never forget.

**I have been getting a ton of messages and emails telling me how much they miss my daily posts. I have had multiple requests to bring back What I Ate Wednesdays, Fitness Fridays, etc. I promise now that our home life is getting more of a routine I will start to get back into blogging more regularly. Like I said I truly missed it I can’t wait.**
