Our Poor Children

Home / Uncategorized / Our Poor Children

My husband and I are truly saddened by the horrific tragedy that took place yesterday. We continue to feel for the families of the children and adults whose lives were taken. We can not imagine what they must be going through. We are definitely holding our children tighter today.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected. We will also be praying for the state of the world, in hopes that somehow people will find away to change this horrific path of destruction we are on.

A friend of mine could not have said it better, so I am going to end this post with his beautiful quote.

An unbelievable, heart breaking thing happened today. My prayers are with the families      affected. Now lets turn our faces toward love and remember that yes, there is evil in this world and we will probably never eradicate it but if enough of us hold love in our hearts and make a constant practice of it by choosing love over money, by choosing people over things, by choosing to not judge others but

really be the change we want to see, we may just be able to tip the scales. We think that everyone else needs to change but really it starts at home. I’m going to focus even more on cleaning up my side of the street so that I am contributing the kind of energy in this world that I know will have a positive impact. – Chris Hale

Like everyone else, we have been overwhelmed with sadness by this horrific tragedy. I can’t imagine what the families, staff and students are going through right now. My thoughts and prayers are with them and I’m holding my little love nugget a little closer today.
On a more positive note, I nominated you for the Liebster Award 🙂
