How is my sweet girl eleven?

I am still trying to figure out how we got here. How eleven years has come and gone. I will never forget the day she was born, the day I became a mom. She was so tiny and so precious. It was love at first site. You taught me how to love unconditionally, to love someone more than I ever thought possible. You humble me, you challenge me. You are smart, stronger, yet so very kind and sensitive. You have a heart of gold. You are a rule follower, a caretaker, the best big sister, daughter an friend. You would give yourself to protect those you love, especially your sisters. Watching you love them is the greatest gift a mother could ever receive.

You are not only my daughter, but my friend. Spending time with you is one of my greatest joys. I love you and cannot wait to watch our friendship grow and change. You are beautiful inside and out. You are amazing, please never forget how much you mean to me. How truly loved you are each and everyday.

I must say, I was young and clueless, but we sure have lived, loved and learned together. You taught me more than you will ever know. I am a better person because of you Sophia, because of everything you have taught me about the world, about life, about love. Your heart is pure and I pray that never changes. You will change the world someday my love.
