MIMM # 23

MIMM # 23

Happy Monday!! Wow, this weekend flew by fast. I am sorry I didn’t get my Friday post out, I ended up getting either the flu or mastitis. I am really not sure they can resemble each other pretty closely. In the middle of the night Thursday into Friday I became quite ill and it stuck around all Friday. So of course I figured I had the flu then all of a sudden I woke up Saturday morning and felt better but my left boob was in a lot of pain. Anyone, who has had mastitis knows what I am talking about. Anyway, I started putting two and two together and figured out it might have all been connected. All-in-all I felt awful and I simply couldn’t get my post out. I could barely take care of the girls.

This also meant my second week on my new workout routine was a little botched. I didn’t get Friday or Saturday’s workouts in. Which bummed me out. I have been loving how my body has been feeling since starting back up. Today, is a new day and I am ready to go. I am still going to get you my new workout from last Wednesday (which made me sore for days) I promise.

Since, it’s Monday it is time to talk about all the marvelous things that have been happening in our lives.

Marvelous is cider mill donuts, along with the beautiful fall weather rolling in. Fall is definitely one of my favorite times of the year. Actually, I like something about each season (sometimes winter can get a little too cold, but I still love a beautiful snow storm).

Marvelous is finally getting back in the church routine. I feel so sad we got out of it for a couple months with the babies arrival. But we are back and going strong. Sophia started Sunday school and Isabella had a ton of fun at the nursery. McKenzie and McKayla were angels at church, they love the music. Afterwards, we even managed to go to breakfast and the twins slept the entire time. As always, Sophia and Isabella were wonderful!! They love to go out to breakfast. They love to go out to eat, period. It was a marvelous Sunday morning!! Oh and we can’t forget having Mimi and Papa there made it even more marvelous. We don’t know what we would do without them. They make everything so much better. 🙂

Marvelous is anything made with pumpkin. I am obsessed!! I can’t wait to make my own pumpkin cupcakes.

  1. I’m sorry to hear you were sick! Ugh, mastitis is not fun at all! I’m glad you are feeling better! I’ve been craving doughnuts ever since I made them on Saturday (baked pumpkin ones)! They were so simple and SO good! Keenan and my husband devoured them in minutes and already requested me to make more!

I love pumpkin everything and I’m already planning out when I’m going to bake some pumpkin bread, muffins and make more doughnuts!

  2. That sounds awful! I’m glad you’re feeling better. You might want to put in a call to your OB – even though you’re feeling better, you might still want a quick round of antibiotics to make sure it’s all cleared up!

    • It was, this is now the third time this pregnancy. I am usually pretty good at catching it early which Is the key. Thanks!!

  3. I’ve been sick for about a week now and recovering thankfully. That’s good to hear that you are getting over whatever you had as well!

This weekend will be the first time I get to go to church in a little while as well. At school I haven’t found a church to go to so I only get the chance every few weeks when I go home… and then I was sick last time with a fever so that failed. 🙁

Pumpkin cupcakes sound 100 times better than pumpkin muffins. I will have to check those out!
