McKenzie and McKayla 2 Months Old

Some days I feel like I was just pregnant with the girls yesterday and then some days I feel like we have had them forever. Our family truly feels complete and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. I thank God every day for bringing all my girls into our lives. I am so grateful to have four healthy and happy girls.

McKenzie and McKayla have grown so much over the past two months.

McKenzie Madison

At Birth: 5 pounds 5 ounces

Two Months: 10 pounds 4 ounces

McKenzie is just starting to wear 0-3 month clothing.

McKayla Grace

At Birth: 3 pounds 3 ounces

Two Months: 7 pounds 8 ounces

McKyla is just starting to wear newborn clothing.

As the girls get closer and closer in size they are beginning to look more and more alike.

They are beginning to have more awake time during the day. I am enjoying getting to know these two little ones each and every day.

Right now they love when I talk to them. They get all excited. 🙂 They are definitely getting to know Sophia and Isabella too.

McKenzie and McKayla have started smiling at us, it is the best. They love to smile at their big sisters too and it melts my heart. Their big sisters love it too.

McKenzie and McKayla’s sleep has been hit or miss lately. Some nights they will get a 5-6 hour stretch and others it will only be 2 hour stretches. I am hoping the closer they get to 4 months the more consistent they will be. But I do know our pediatrician said that we have to remember they were born 6 weeks early, so they may not start sleeping better until closer to 5 months.

They are beginning to like to be awake. These past few days they have been able to lay on their play mat or sit in their bouncers happy and awake. We are definitely growing up.
