Marvelous in My Monday # 2 – Easter 2013

Thank Katie for hosting this wonderful link-up. I love focusing on what makes us happy.

We had a great weekend. It was very busy, but filled with lots of family and love. Our girls had so much fun with all the Easter festivities. I still have to get better at taking more pictures. I try to watch the girls and then I forget to snap pictures and not to mention Isabella doesn’t sit still long enough to get a non-blurry picture. We also didn’t get a family picture, like I wanted. But here are the pictures I did manage to get from the day.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter weekend. My favorite thing about Easter is watching how excited my girls get about finding Easter eggs. I also love experiencing this wonderful holiday through their eyes. I simply love holidays because it is a wonderful reason to get together with all our family. 🙂

Oh, I totally forgot to tell you. I bought a new waffle iron, but I don’t like it so it is going back tonight. I will tell you all about it later. I was so bummed. My search continues for the perfect waffle iron that doesn’t break the bank.

In the comments below:

  1. I would love to hear all about your weekends.
  2. What is your favorite thing about Easter?
  3. Any tips on taking better/more pictures of my girls?

Oh those dresses are just gorgeous!! And I feel the same way about holidays…Seeing my little boy get so excited about them and getting to spend more time with family is just wonderful 🙂

    • Oh thank you. They wore those as flower girls in my sister’s wedding and Sophia has been begging to wear it again, so I thought it was the perfect time. Sophia loves to dress fancy; as she would say. 🙂

there is just something so special about watching little ones enjoy everything about life. 🙂

They looked so beautiful in their easter dresses! So fun when they are at the fun age and still believe in the easter bunny! My son is 13, so he is past that, but I am excited to relive all again with Baby G!

Glad you had a great easter! <3

    • Thank you, they are my little angels. 🙂 That is so exciting you will get to experience all the wonderful toddler activities again. 🙂 These are such fun ages.

Your girls look adorable in their Easter dresses! Little boy clothes are nowhere near as cute or fun as girls! Easter this year for us was so fun because our little guy was at an age where he could hunt for eggs. Although he was still afraid of the Easter Bunny!

    • Thank you. They love to dress up. Your little guy and Bella are about the same age and it is so much fun. Being afraid of the Easter Bunny will probably last a long time. 🙂
