I’m not a New Year resolution type of girl; they are just too easily broken, but I do love to make goals for myself. Not just any goals, attainable goals. This year is nothing new. So, here are my goals for 2016:
- Make 2016 my healthiest year yet. Continue to learn balance in everything I do; food, exercise, etc..
- Become a group fitness instructor or at least do some more research, but get started in the right direction. (See attainable) 🙂
- Spend one-on-one time with each of my girls at least once a day (besides bedtime). This may only be 5 minutes (due to school, activities, etc.), but I really want to make a conscious effort to do so. Life gets so crazy around here especially during the school week and I’m not sure this is happening each and every day and my girls are growing up so fast.
- Keep improving Fit For Motherhood. This is my year to make this blog even better and I can’t wait!!
- Tweak my wardrobe. Right now it’s okay, but I want it to be great. I want my outfits to always look pulled together, yet effortless. Right now that is not happening everyday. But, this year I want to step it up. Now that I am not getting pregnant, nursing, or losing baby weight I am ready to get it together. I love everything there is to love about fashion, but ever since suffering from my eating disorder I have just never had the confidence to pull off certain outfits. But, this is my year. Head on over to my style pinterest board to check out some of my favorite picks. Sometimes it’s simply adding a scarf, necklace, etc. but I want to start taking the time to do this. Lately, I am just living in leggings and sweaters; there is nothing wrong with that, but I want to add a few more outfits to my closet. 🙂
- Get organized. Isn’t this one on everyone’s list? But, now that my girls are growing up this is something I really want to do. This also means that this is the year to get rid of all our baby stuff. 🙁
- Take the time to paint my nails more often. I hate when my nails aren’t painted, but I also feel as though I never have time to have let my nails dry. I am always painting my girls’ nails, but never mine. This is going to change.
