Fitness Friday – 30 Day Challenges

Good evening everyone. I can’t believe that I have actually had a “normal” blog week. I have to tell you it feels so good. I have loved talking to all of you this week.

I have to start off by telling you how much all your kind and loving comments mean to me. Thank you. I am sorry I came off as a downer yesterday, but I want to be as honest and real as possible. I must say that since I started working out consistently for the past week I have started to feel so much better. I think time will make it all better.

I am so excited to tell you about the new at home workout I found – 30 day challenge by BodyRock. It is an intense HIIT workout. Let me tell you they are not easy, but I love the way I feel after I have completed one. I also love the accountability a challenge brings to me.

As you know along with this challenge I am also doing a plank challenge. These challenges take me less then an hour a day; total. Lately, I have been waking up at 6am to get them in. Actually, McKayla has been waking up to eat at about 5:30am and I simply stay awake and workout.

Since starting this challenge last Thursday I have not missed a day. I am quickly learning that I love a challenge. I really thrive on challenges. Seriously, each day I look forward to the next workout. Typically, I like to take the weekend off from working out, but I can’t wait to do day # 9 of the 30 day challenge. I am getting up early tomorrow to complete it. This is definitely my year of challenges.

I would love for you to join me throughout the year as I embark on different challenges; we can keep each other motivated. If you do choose to join me I would encourage you to like my Facebook page. I will post updates and reminders each day. 🙂 I think that will be the easiest way to communicate our successes!!

In the Comments Below:

  1. Who’s joining me?
  2. How do you feel about challenges? Do you feel you thrive when put up to a challenge?
