Happy Friday everyone. Wow, I haven’t written a Friday post in awhile; life has just been so crazy. I am actually starting this post during naptime; which is unheard of, but of course there is no way I will be able to finish it. I have been getting a ton of emails and messages asking about what my fitness routine is these days. I have been doing the same sort of thing for the past several months; I look forward to my workout every morning. Well, okay a little has changed I have eased up on myself a bit. We will see how long this lasts; I am pretty tough on myself.

So, I am still following the blogilates monthly calendar; a new one comes out each month. Her calendar is free as long as you are signed up for her newsletter. Some weeks I may take more then one rest day (she only has one rest day per week in the calendar) and since I have been sick I have been taking it very easy (I took 10 days off; that is unheard for me). After finishing her recommended workouts for the day I end with a bodyrock.tv YouTube video – I have been loving their BodyRock HiitMax series and I am about to start their new lean series. These workouts are only 12 minutes, but man do they kick your booty. I love ending my routine with a quick HIIT workout; burn some major calories and feel great. This way I am doing a little bit of cardio each day and I don’t have to worry about incorporating an entire hour to just cardio. The only cardio I do is HIIT or interval; I get too bored otherwise. Well, at least for right now, I never say never. Maybe one day I will become a runner. We will see.

Sample Workout Routine for Me:

Pop Pilates: Fat Burning Ladder

Pop Pilates: 3 Minute Thighs

Pop Pilates: Killer Legs Challenge

Pop Pilates: Sculpted Legs in Skinny Leggings

Pop Pilates: 6 Min to Sexy Thighs

Bodyrock HiitMax Workout 4 – Power Squats

Right now these are my favorite workouts. I do love going to a studio by my house and taking a class on the weekends though. There is something about being in a group that just takes your workout to the next level.

In the Comments Below:

  1. I love blogilates! I have been doing a few of her videos in the morning and then I go to yoga in the evening some nights. I find blogilates a great start to my day and I sometimes do my own dumbbell weight routine in addition to a couple of her videos. Her ab videos are great, forces me to hold a pose longer.

    • Yes, her videos are a perfect start to the day. Waking up at 4:45am is not easy, but I love doing her workouts, so I actually look forward to it. Yoga in the evenings sounds perfect!!

  2. Oh man. I definitely need to do some of the pop pilates videos. I’ve been hearing good things about them forever.

I’m the opposite, and mostly run for exercise. It works well for me for the most part. 🙂

    • They are amazing. I actually look forward to working out. 🙂

Running sounds like something that would be a wonderful way for me to get out of my head, but I have never been able to get into it. Maybe some day.
