Today, was the first day in quite awhile I woke up at 5am to workout and it felt great. (I’ve been GETTING woken up at 5am by my little loves, lately so I haven’t been getting up to workout.). Yes at first when my alarm went off I did NOT want to get out of my cozy bed, but after my workout was complete I was glad I had my “me” time before the chaos began.
Breakfast
After my workout I had egg whites with sweet potatoes. Oh how I love this breakfast; it’s so filling and satisfying.
Lunch
After getting home from gymnastics and Costco I ate some left over Baked BBQ Chicken Nuggets (I will share the recipe with you ASAP) with green beans and carrots, minus the almonds.
These two love “helping” me in the kitchen.
Snack
After lunch I made some Protein Bars and Bites (I am still working on this recipe; I originally used this one all the time, but I am tweaking it a little bit.) and of course I ate a little of it along the way. This paleo granola is addicting.

Pre-Dinner
After school we played outside, once we came in, I had a salad with rotisserie chicken to hold me over until dinner. I’m sorry I forgot to take a picture.
Dinner
We had an easy, but delicious dinner, cheese tortellini with a light dusting of Kirklands Basil Pesto sauce. Yum!! While I was shopping at Costco this morning I sampled these and they were delicious so that was that.
After dinner I had my usual teaspoon of almond butter and a mini milky way.
