Thank you Jenn for hosting. I really like to see what I am eating at least once a week and this is a great way to keep my in check.
What I Ate Tuesday!
With twin pregnancies I have been told you need to be eating lots of protein. So, you will notice I am really trying, it is not the easiest when you don’t really feel like eating.
Greek Yogurt Waffles (23 grams of protein)
Peanut Butter Protein Shake (25 grams of protein)
Turkey and lettuce wrap with a fruit salad – I know it is plain, but I was a simple eater before pregnancy and my food has become even more simplified. Strong tastes and smells make me sick. But, my goal is to have two healthy babies and I am really trying. I tried to take a picture of it wrapped up but it kept falling apart. (21 grams of protein)
A can of tuna fish with a little miracle whip. I love tuna fish, but during pregnancy you are only supposed to eat it 1-2 times per week. I am sorry I forgot to take a picture, (26 grams of protein)
I forgot to take a picture of dinner, as well. I had two poached eggs with two pieces of toast. This is one of my favorite ways to eat eggs. I have really been trying to have at least one egg a day, my doctor said that they are a great source of protein. I will try and remember to take a picture next time. (14 grams of protein)
Total Protein Today: 109 grams
Wow, I am so excited. I have been told my numerous doctors and books that I should be eating around 100 grams of protein a day for two healthy babies. I did it!
- During the day do you have a specific goal you are trying to achieve when you eat certain foods, more protein, veggies, etc?
- Are you a plain and simple eater or will you eat just about anything?
