We hung our stockings on the banister, since we did not have a fire place at our condo.

We moved right before Christmas this year so I am sad to say I don’t have any pictures of our decorations from this year. But I thought this picture of Sophia would make up for it. 🙂

Do you have a real or fake tree?
I never even considered hanging stocking on the stair banister, good idea! We don’t have a fireplace and hung ours on the bar area of the kitchen. 🙂 We have a fake tree, we’ve never gotten a real one but I tell my hubby that next year I’d love to get a small real tree once the baby is bigger so he can decorate it as his little tree.
Thanks. I loved that the stockings helped to decorate the banister. We have never had a fake one. A small one is a great idea, then you can still get the wonderful pine smell. 🙂
