A Minivan and I am Changed Forever
Oh my, I can’t believe I just wrote that title. I have truly lost my mind. So Steve and I decided we could really use a bigger car for our two little ones and maybe one day another little munchkin. Currently, we have a Trailblazer that we bought used 4 years ago just before we had Sophia.
So, we began our search with the Traverse, originally my first choice. At the beginning of our search I was fighting the minivan idea. I just couldn’t picture myself in a minivan. I mean come on I am only 27 years old and all of a sudden I am supposed to be a minivan driver. It just seemed crazy. Well, low and behold, we test drove the Chrysler Town and Country and all I can say is wow. It truly is the most convenient family vehicle. Chrysler truly thought of everything. And let me tell you, I have been a GM driver ever since I started driving. My Grandpa worked for GM so I never looked in any other direction. Ok, maybe when I was 16 and I had to have a mustang convertible but I was 16, enough said. Anyway, the Town and Country is magical. Did I really just say that? So, by tonight I might be the new proud owner of a minivan. AHHHH!
Full Body Pilates Workout – At Home
If there is something I learned while being a mother it is how to get a great workout at home. One thing I know about myself is that I workout harder if I am being instructed by a teacher, therefore at home I like to do videos. It gives me the group fitness class feel without having to drive anywhere. But I can’t go spend thousands of dollars on different exercise programs. Therefore, I had to be resourceful. I have found so many wonderful FREE workouts on YouTube as well as On Demand. As the days go one I will share my favorite workouts with you. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Today’s at home workout is a full body Pilates workout. Pilates is one of my favorite types of exercise. It is great for those days when you just don’t feel like working out. Yet, I am always sore the next day.
Today my workout consists of many different short workouts from Blogilates. Cassey is so motivating, I love these workouts. You can do all of these workouts at one time, like I did this morning or if you are short on time you can split them up however you would like.

Pop Cardio Carnage – 4 minutes (cardio warm up)
Saddlebag Shaver – 10 minutes (Fast forward through the beginning dance part)
Back Attack – 10 minutes (I used 3-5 pound weights)
Total: 63 minutes
