First things first, I want to wish my wonderful husband a very happy birthday. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing man in my life. He is a fabulous husband, friend, and father. I couldn’t ask for anyone better to raise our four daughters with me.
Toddler Tuesday # 5 – Easter Eggs
Thank you Giselle for hosting. I am so glad to be writing this post again. 🙂
Ever since we told her Easter was coming, she has wanted to do Easter eggs. She has been begging us to dye eggs. Finally, we dyed eggs yesterday with Mimi. Isabella wasn’t interested so I didn’t push and we just did it with Sophia. But, if you have a little one who wants to dye eggs I have the perfect almost mess free solution for you. I will tell you all about it in just a minute.
But first here are some pictures of Sophia dyeing Easter eggs.
No Spill Egg Coloring Solution
First, I have to tell you that Steve thought I was crazy for buying this kit, but it worked great. If you have a little one and want to dye Easter eggs with them, but don’t want to have to worry about spilling the dye I have the best solution. I used this with Sophia last year and was going to use it with Isabella this year, but Isabella had no interest in dyeing eggs. I don’t remember where I bought mine at, but I think it was Target. It was a really great way for Sophia to enjoy the process when she was younger. Then, I have simply saved the cups and will use them in the years to come.
Do you dye Easter eggs with your kids? What age did you start letting them dye their own?
How fun! We were talking about dying eggs this week but I was so worried about the mess. Those cups are awesome! I’ll have to go to Target and search for them. Thanks for linking up Renee!
Try those cups they really did work with Sophia and I was so skeptical at first. As you know this is one of my favorite link ups. I love talking about my girls. 🙂 Thanks!
Fun! We are dying eggs on Thursday. Keenan is SO excited to color them, because he keeps asking about it! We dyed eggs last year and though he was a little young, he loved it, so I can’t wait to do it again this year!
I had thought about dyeing eggs with my Ryman, but was worried about the mess too! I will definitely have to go look for those. Your Sophia is so precious 🙂
