Today, has been quite busy. Sophia and I went to the dentist, Trader Joe’s (her favorite store), and Target. We had to get all her snack and lunch foods for her first day of preschool tomorrow. We also had to get all of her school supplies, pencil box, markers, etc. I am so excited for her to start school. I think she will truly love it.
This evening I have been busy packing her two snacks and lunch. I can’t believe life as we know it is over.
Good evening everyone. I haven’t written a Toddler Tuesday post since the babies were born, so I am excited to be back at it. I started writing this post this morning and am finally getting it out.
Thank you Giselle for hosting. I love talking about our little ones and learning from other moms. 🙂
I thought since my house is crazy these days it was only fitting to talk about a fun and easy activity for the kids. I am always trying to come up with something different for the girls to do, but right now I need to keep things simple. So, one of the things I love are these Color Me Playhouses. There are many different types to choose from too. What I love about this activity is not only do the girls color it they also love to play in it and use it as a house. They get very creative in what it can be.
Here are a few pictures of my girls loving their new house.
I had to post this picture, I just love Isabella’s smile in it. They were so excited when I brought this box up from the basement.
Of course I have to mention that today McKayla and McKenzie are two months old!! I will talk more about these last two months on Thursday. They have come so far and we are so blessed to have them in our lives.
I’ve seen these kits before but forgot all about them! I think The Love Nugget would love playing in it but he’s not that into coloring. I’m sure he’d have fun though and it might keep him busy for a few hours 🙂 Hope Sophia has a great first day of school!
They are so much fun!! I love to color this too. 🙂
My son loves those houses. I need to get another one for him once our babies come! Speaking of, I’m one of the lucky ones scheduling an induction date for next Friday for our ID twin girls. At my 34 week scan they estimated them both to be in the low 4 lb range for weight so I was wondering about premie clothes. Are the babies still in premie or have they moved up to NB? We have a few outfits (PR) washed but I didn’t want to open everything in case they don’t stay in them that long. Any suggestions would be great!
I would definitely get one for when the babies arrive it is a great way to keep little ones busy.
Right now McKayla who was 3lbs3oz weighs 7lbs2oz and she is finally wearing newborns. She wore preemies for about 6 weeks I would say. McKenzie who weighed 5lbs5oz now weighs 9lbs14oz and she is currently wearing 0-3 month clothes; this just happened the other day. I would say get a few preemie onesies and sleepers, but not too many. Keep tags on things so you can exchange if needed. I hope that helped. 🙂
I am so excited for you to meet your little ones!!
