Happy Thursday everyone. I can’t believe this week is almost over; which means we are at the end of May. Seriously? Life is crazy.
As always, thank you Amanda for hosting this fun link-up. I love being able to think out loud. 🙂
1. I love this beautiful weather. We all feel so much better when the sun is shining and the weather is nice.
2. I think my gym routine is getting cut off for a little while. Sophia has been going through a little separation anxiety lately and she has asked not to go to the gym. Last Friday she cried when I dropped them off at the child center and it killed me. Since she asked not to go tomorrow I am going to honor her request. I just can’t do it. As much as I love going to the gym, my girls mean more to me. At some point she won’t even want to spend time with me. I know this is a short phase of our life.
3. I have been loving my May workout calendar and can’t wait to start the blogilates June calendar. I seriously forgot how much I love pilates. Of course, I am going to add in some HIIT workouts in June. I will fill you in on what I decide to do.
4. When you love your workouts you will want to do them everyday. I am actually struggling with over doing it lately. I don’t want to take a day off I love getting up at 5am and getting some me time in. I love feeling sore the next day. I love everything about my routine right now. Which I know is a good thing, but how much it too much? Right now I don’t feel as though I am pushing too hard, but we will see what the future holds. I know rest days are as important as workout days and I know I will find a balance.
5. June is a busy month for us as a family. It is a fun one, but definitely lots going on. Throughout the month on June we have Sophia’s dance recital, Isabella and Sophia’s birthdays, as well as our nieces’ birthdays. Then July 3rd is McKenzie and Mckayla’s birthday.
6. I need a pedicure and a manicure ASAP!! For some reason getting one from Sophia is simply not the same.
7. I am loving my new book. Emily Giffin, my favorite author, just came out with a new book and as always she hasn’t let me down. I haven’t read a book of hers I haven’t liked and this one is no exception.
8. I think McKenzie and McKayla are going to start walking any day now. They love to stand and practice all day long. Today, McKenzie walked across the playroom using her walker. I can’t believe our little preemies are developing so well.
In the Comments Below:
- It’s your turn. What is on your mind?
- Do you love busy months or do you like months where you have no plans?
I love kettlebells and just want to do those everyday! They make me sweat profusely within 15 minutes!
I have never used kettlebells, but I definitely want to give them a try. They sounds awesome!!
Love the walker, soo cute!!
