- Monday morning everyone woke up healthy and it was business as usual. We dropped Sophia off at school and then headed to Target and Costco. Isabella told me that this was the best day ever because she didn’t have to go to school and we went to Target and Costco. Ha!! My girls love Costco because they get smoothies and who doesn’t love Target. The day didn’t end as well as it began. We all got Sophia off the bus then headed to gymnastic; while as gymnastics McKenzie simply didn’t look well, but I thought maybe she was tired. Once, we arrived home got Sophia ready for dance fed everyone and headed back out. Well, half way through class my poor Sophia comes out in tears. She felt awful, so we all headed home and sure enough her and McKenzie had fevers. Monday sure didn’t end well. My poor girls.
- Tuesday morning Isabella went to school and poor Sophia had to stay home, but by Wednesday she was feeling much better and ready to go back.
- Wow!! My back is causing me SO much pain; it’s ridiculous. I can’t even describe what I am feeling, but all I know is that my life must go on. This pain can’t keep me down and that is EXACTLY what I am doing, but it’s not always easy. I have moments of tears and my sweet girls say, “Mama’s back?” and they give me lots of kisses and hugs. It’s really the sweetest thing.
- Tonight Steve and I went to a wine and food tasting event for our local rotary and it was fun; I loved being with my hubby and it gave me a reason to wear my new top from Ella Mae’s Boutique (This boutique is adorable and so affordable.). Everything was delicious, but I must say I am so happy to be back on my new comfy couch. 🙂
- Tomorrow, is Sophia’s class Halloween party and I am one of the three moms who planned this party, so I am ready to get it started. I can’t wait to share with all of you the details; we have planned great games, food, and crafts.
- These past few weeks have been so busy we haven’t had time to carve pumpkins, so tomorrow is the night!! We are having a Friday night carving party and for the first time Sophia wants to carve her own pumpkin; SO much fun!! These are our pumpkins from the last couple years. This year the girls have chosen Hello Kitty and Minnie Mouse. We will see how it goes. Wish me luck. 🙂
