Thinking Out Loud # 59 – Late Again

Thinking-Out-Loud (3)

1. Last night was bunco again, which means by the time I got home it was late and I was way too tired to write. I’m sorry.

2. Sophia turns 6 at the end of the month and has decide she wants to get her ears pierced for her birthday. Wow, I can’t believe how big my baby girl is getting. Since, this weekend is her school friends birthday party she wanted to get it done before the party. Oh my!!

3. I love going to gymnastics with Isabella. I can’t believe we only have a few more classes; next year she will be by herself. 🙁

4. I am almost done with my 3rd round of 21 Day Fix Extreme (Countdown to Competition) and I didn’t get the results I was hoping to see, but I learned eve more about myself and my eating. I actually saw more results when I follow the regular extreme nutrition plan. But, I also jumped down a calorie level, so maybe I haven’t been eating enough (this still baffles me). I’m not sure. I am going to start to playing around with the amount of calories I am taking in and go from there. I don’t hate where I am at (fitness and body), but I just want to tweak it a little. I love challenging my myself.

5. We leave for Vegas in less then a week. Ahhh!! I think I have all my outfits planned; bathing suit, bathing suit, bathing suit, oh and a few dresses thrown in there too. I can’t wait, but boy am I going to miss my girls.

6. Our weekend is pretty busy, but what weekend isn’t these days? We are getting Sopiha’s ear’s pierced on Saturday morning, followed by her school friends party. Sunday we have a relaxing morning then we are going to spend the afternoon at the beach (one of my favorite places).

7. Snuggle time is the best.

8. McKenzie and McKayla are sleeping nicely again. I think they weren’t feeling the past couple of weeks; between teething and a cold they were very clingy, but life is getting back to normal.

9. I think I found my dress for my brother and future sister-in-law’s wedding. Whoo hoo! I will take a picture this weekend and share it with you. 🙂

10. Did I tell you I think I am going to get spray tanned before my trip? I just feel so much more confident in my bikini with bronze complexion. There are a few salons right by me; we will see.

Oh and I have finally perfected the Grain-Free Crepe Recipe; it will be up of the blog soon.

My daughter turned 6 at the end of May and she chose to get her ears pierced too. She is loving them! She picked Elsa earrings to get them pierced with and they look so cute! Have a nice weekend and enjoy your Vegas trip!!

    • Sophia LOVES her earrings too. They are the first thing she shows people when she sees them; it is so cute and puts a smile on my face every time. 🙂 The joys of childhood.

  2. We just got back from vacation and I’m so not ready to face reality. I have to admit, it was so nice to be unplugged from everything and spend quality family time with no distractions!

Your girls are SO cute! I love my snuggle time with my kids, too!

    • Yes, it is AMAZING to unplug for a little bit, but it always feels nice to get back on a routine. 🙂 Snuggle time is the best.

  3. Six? I’m still in disbelief that our twin girls turned 5 months on the first. Where does the time go? I can’t wait to see a photo of Sophia & her earrings.. if you choose to post one. I bet she looks absolutely beautiful!

A week until vacation? How exciting! Enjoy every second of your time. You & your husband are going to have a blast.

    • It was by way too fast; I want my girls to stay little forever. I miss my babies, but I love spending time with my big girls too. Oh vacation was wonderful, but it feels wonderful to get back in our routine.
