1. Today, I went grocery shopping at Meijer; not for the first time, but for the first “real” time. Typically, I have gone to Meijer and bought a few things, but not “actually” grocery shopped. Today was different and I really liked the selection. They have a lot of different brands and a decent amount of organics. My sister-in-law swears by the money she saves from shopping at Meijer. She uses M-Perks and earns a lot of money back. So, I am going to see if we start saving money by shopping there, we will see.
2. Before leaving for Meijer I did some meal planning; in my head, but it’s a start right? I am truly going to try to start planning our meals for the week.
3. Tomorrow Sophia and Isabella are going to Frozen on Ice with Mimi and Papa. They have NO idea!! I can’t wait to see their faces when I tell them in the morning. Happy girls, happy Mama.
4. McKenzie and McKayla had another 4 month ear appointment to check their ear tubes. Unfortunately, both of their left tubes have fallen out. McKayla doesn’t have any fluid in her ear, but McKenzie does. So, our doctor is suggesting another surgery for McKenzie, but I am not sure that’s the best way to go. I want to take another month or so to see if the fluid drains on its own. I am going to talk to our doctor and let her know how I am feeling. I simply want to see if having fluid is ones ear causes any long term damage; if not my gut is telling me to wait.
5. I had an impromptu photo session with McKenzie and McKayla the other day and the pictures are adorable. I will share all them with you tomorrow, but for now here’s a sneak peek.
6. I can’t believe we are already half way through March. Seriously, time goes by way too fast, but right now all I want is summer.
7. My mom, sister, and I finally started our dress shopping for my brother’s wedding. This past weekend we went to one mall by our house and failed miserably, but this Saturday we are going to another mall and hopefully we will have success. So excited!!
8. A few weeks ago I decided I was going to stop weighing myself on a daily and it has been much easier then I thought it would be. Now, I only weigh myself on Fridays and it really is liberating. I know it may sound crazy, but I have lived most of my life by the scale for such a long time.
9. Cinderella comes out tomorrow and I am taking Sophia and Isabella to it on Sunday; I can’t wait!! I love our girl time. I seriously might start tearing up writing this, it really means the world to me to spend quality time with my girls. I know they aren’t going to be little forever and they aren’t going to want to be with their mama all the time.
10. I hope you are all enjoying this beautiful spring like weather. Talk to you tomorrow; I can’t wait for you to see these cute pictures I took of my babies (they are getting too big).
Thank you Amanda for hosting.

I walked by my bathroom one day when my daughter was about six years old. She was weighing herself on my scale, it totally broke my heart. I threw out the scale that day… I never want her to feel that her weight matters. Sometimes we don’t realize that our so called “healthy” habits are hurting our children.
Yes!! I never, ever weigh myself in front of my girls, I never talk about weight at all. I want my girls to grow up being healthy not worrying about how they look. I am raising healthy, happy girls. 🙂
