Good evening everyone. I am sorry yesterday’s post go out so late, but we were packing and getting ready to leave on our 9 hour road trip to Virginia. We made it!! We are all alive. No it really wasn’t as rough as I thought it was going to be. I must say through I hate being in the car for that amount of time. I might have been worse then the girls; I got terribly carsick and it was no fun. Anyway, we are here and we are all okay. I must say though we stopped five times in the first two hours. Yes, you read that right FIVE times. First Steve wanted coffee and food, then Sophia had to potty, then McKenzie needed a diaper change, of course McKayla needed one shortly after that, and then Sophia had to potty again. After that though we only made a couple more stops. But those first two hours seemed to go on forever. I will talk more about our trip next week. Today, I am linking up with Amanda for Thinking Out Loud Thursday.
- Target should have a drive-through. No seriously, hear me out. They would need to create an app/website so you can go on your computer or phone and order what you need then it would be all ready when you arrive. Genius, I know!!
- I love being a mom to four girls. Yes, it is crazy difficult most of the time, but I still love it. I was looking back at all my girls in their car seats thinking I can’t believe they are all mine.
- I can’t wait to swim with my girls tomorrow and enjoy them. It is nice to not have to think about cleaning, laundry, and all the silly chores that have to get done. I love being able to simply enjoy my girls. I love spending time with them.
- McKenzie and McKayla are sick once again. All I can say is at least it’s not ear infections, but they are on medicine so hopefully they will be feeling better soon.
Okay, I am going to bed I am exhausted from our fun day of travel and I will talk to you later.
In the Comments Below:
- Tell me what’s on your mind.
- Do you like road trips and being in the car? Do you get car sick?
Target does have that option!! If you order online you can select the “pick up in store” option when you check out! It’s the greatest thing ever.
That’s sound wonderful. I seriously was thinking about that while driving with the four girls. I wanted to go to Target but I didn’t feel like getting everyone out of the car. Haha!!
