MIMM # 38 – Goals

MIMM # 38 – Goals

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We had a pretty relaxing one, well as relaxing as it can be with 4 kids under 5. Ha!! I guess I should say we didn’t have a lot of plans this weekend, which was nice.

Marvelous is…

Feeling motivated and succeeding at my goals thus far and knowing I am going to stick with them throughout the year. I love that I made my goals attainable. I didn’t make goals that I thought would be impossible. The goals I have set for this year are perfect for me at this phase in my life. That is what is so wonderful about a new year, you can assess where you are each year.

Last week I was able to work out 6 days. This is a feat in and of itself these days. I learned that the best thing I can do is wake up before the girls. It is early and I am tired, but afterwards it is so worth it. I feel so much more energized the rest of the day. I am excited to feel like I am getting myself back again. Exercising is something I truly enjoy and I love that I am making it a priority for me. The 30 day challenge is helping to keep me accountable. Rest days have always been more difficult for me than working out. I am not one to sit around.

I made my one new meal of the month (I committed to making at least, one new recipe each month) and I am already figuring out something new to make this week. Wow, two weeks in a row. This year is off you a great start. Okay, I must admit that my mom actually made my new meal for me, but hey it found the recipe. Life was crazy that day, but it’s the thought that counts. I had all intention of making it, but McKenzie and McKayla had a rough day and it was Sophia’s dance day. It was just not my day. But, my mom is amazing, per usual. Thank you Mom, we don’t know what we would do without you. We love you!!
