Happy Monday everyone. I must say I was excited to be getting back into a routine. However, mother nature had other plans. Sophia had her first snow day today. I must admit I was kind of excited to hear of her snow day, I really wasn’t ready to get back into making a lunch and having to get out the door. This way we can ease into everyday life a little slower.

Sledding for the first time at Mimi and Papa’s house. Sophia and Isabella had so much fun. Isabella kept face planting in the snow and would simply get up and brush it off. She was such a trooper; as always.
This is how we spent New Years day. I can’t believe I forgot to take a picture of our bonfire. My parents have a beautiful bonfire pit in the backyard so my dad made a wonderful fire. It was the perfect way to spend our snowy day. We even made some s’mores. Delicious!! We will definitely be doing that again.

Sophia’s first gymnastics class. She absolutely loved it!!

All the beautiful snow we got over the weekend. Here in Michigan we seriously have about 14 inches. Oh my!! Not so marvelous is the freezing cold weather. Tomorrow I will take a picture of it. It really is beautiful. Once it warms up a little here I can’t wait to go outside with my girls.
