We had a busy, but fun weekend. I just wish our weather was better and when I say better I mean 75 and sunny. Ha!!
We had a relaxing Friday night, my favorite way to kick off the weekend. I know I’m boring, but by Friday night this Mama is completely exhausted.
Before running out the door Saturday morning I made a quick batch of FlapJacked Protein Pancakes for the first time and they were DELICIOUS. Seriously, I can’t believe I have waited this long to try them. So good. I love that I could make a single serving because I would have eaten the entire package if I didn’t use portion control. Not really, but really they were that good.
After feeding everyone breakfast I was running out of the house by 8:15am (Early on a weekend I know.), not exactly what I call a perfect Saturday. But, this was different. I went to a class, for me to learn all about my camera (we’ve had this nice Canon for years and have never really “used” it. But, yes that means I was kid-free for over 7 hours. Oh my!! This class was amazing, now I have so much to practice, if summer could hurry up I’d love to take pictures of my girls outside. And best of all the girls had a blast with their Daddy. They don’t get Daddy time very often so it was good for everyone.
Once I arrived home I hurried to get everyone ready and out the door. To kick off Steve’s birthday week we had dinner with Mimi, Papa, Gigi, Auntie Ade, and Uncle Scotty. It was a perfect dinner, we all had the best time. I love spending time with my family.
I have a few more pictures from dinner (a really cute one of Gigi and me), but my computer decided not to work. Actually, my editing program, Picasa, just went nuts. I have been trying to fix it, but I can’t and I am tired. So, I guess it will have to wait for another day. I will add them, once they are uploaded. Thanks, for understanding.
