Hello, Hello…
I can’t believe how long it has been since we’ve chatted. Seriously, these last few weeks have left me with absolutely no energy to write, but I’m back and can’t wait to fill you on life these past couple of weeks. They’ve been busy, but oh so fun. I truly love spending time with my girls.
Our week leading up to Christmas consisted of sick girls, dance, gymnastics and school parties. All while this Mama tried to get us ready for Christmas.
Isabella, McKayla, and McKenzie participated in a Christmas dance show and it was adorable. McKayla and McKenzie weren’t too sure about the whole thing, but in the end they had fun. Isabella LOVED it!!
We went out to dinner and just by chance Santa was there, so our girls got to talk to him one more time before Christmas (Luckily they didn’t ask for anything new.).
Our poor Sophia came home from school the Tuesday before Christmas not feeling well, right away I knew she had strep. No doubt about it. So, I took her to the doctors Wednesday morning and of course I was right.
When Sophia takes a nap you know she is not feeling well.
McKayla and McKenzie loved helping Mama take care of their big sister. They are so sweet.
Luckily, Sophia’s medicine worked fast and she was back to feeling like herself and back to school by Thursday. She was so happy to be back at school and able to enjoy her class party.
Some how Isabella did not get sick and her party was a success too.
Happy girls = Happy Mama!!
Of course, someone else was bound to get sick and unfortunately, poor McKayla woke up Friday morning with a fever.
She did not want to move much that morning, but McKenzie wanted to play. So, she put sunglasses on McKayla to try to make her feel better and it did bring a small smile to her face.
Fortunately, this little illness was a fast one and she was feeling better by Saturday and ready to enjoy Christmas.
I have so much more to share, but this post is getting long and it’s getting late, we will continues to catch up over the next few days.
I hope you and your families had a wonderful Christmas!!
