I can’t believe today is the last day of January. As much as I don’t want to wish our time away I need winter to end. I am so tired of being stuck in our house. So, today we actually decided to leave the house; we spent the afternoon at Mimi and Papa’s house. It was a wonderful afternoon. My parents make it so easy to go over to their house. They have two cribs and a bed for each of the big girls, so naps are a piece of cake. Sophia and Isabella had so much fun playing with all their toys and dancing. Today was a nice change of pace.
Sorry the pictures are a little blurry. Getting the girls to stand still while they are dancing is not easy and I forgot my camera at home, so I had to use my IPhone.
Since it is Friday I thought I would join Heather from Housewife Glamour and participate in Friday Favorites.
- I am loving how sore this DVD has made me feel. Since, my challenge ended Wednesday I decided to do a few random workouts at home and I will begin P90X on Monday. The best thing about this workout is right now you can do it for free either on YouTube or Amazon Prime. When you are working out with Jillian you know it is going to be a tough one.
- This 30 day plank challenge is starting to get tough, but I love the burn. Right now I am up to 3 minutes and by the end I will be doing a 5 minute plank. Oh my!!
- My new diaper bag is the best. It is so functional and adorable; you would never guess it is a diaper bag.
- My new found sleep is amazing. By no means are McKenzie and McKayla perfect sleepers, but they are definitely getting better. I would say they are finally beginning to have more good nights then bad. This week the each a night where they slept 8 hours; of course it couldn’t have been on the same night, but I will take it.
- I am in love with my Peanut Butter Protein Shake right now. It is so refreshing right after one of my HIIT workouts. It is seriously exactly what I need!
- Last but not least I love the when my girls play nice together. It truly is the sweetest thing.

- Now it’s your turn. Tell me what some of your favorites are from this week.
Hi,
I have been reading your blog for a couple months now and I really enjoy it. I have and 4 yr old girl, a 2 yr old girl and am pregnant with twin girls. I enjoy reading how you and your family have adapted to life with twins. We are in Disney World right now and had a blast. I hope you have a nice time with your family when you take your trip! I look forward to reading more about your journey. I also had a question for you…when was your dr able to tell you your twins were identical? My dr said we won’t know until they are born.
Thanks!
Beth
Thank you, that means a lot to me. Four girls truly are the best. We have so much fun. My girls love to say girls day, no boys allowed. 🙂 Oh my, I can’t wait to go to Disney. Watching our girls is going to be the best. I am glad you had a blast. We knew they were identical from the start since they shared a placenta. As long as they can only see one placenta and know it’s not two joined then they are identical. Sometimes they aren’t sure if they didn’t check soon enough. I had my first ultrasound at 6 weeks. I hope that helps. 🙂
Your posting of this diaper bag has me further leaning towards getting it! I found a local store that carries it so might just go check it out in person. What I’m loving this week: hitting the 20 week mark and belly has really popped!
I really do love this bag, with all the pockets it is easy to keep organized and it is so cute. I highly recommend it. I bet your belly is so cute. Congrats!! 🙂
