Hello, hello…
I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I was to spend a couple hours helping in Isabella’s class. It was such a joy to get to see my little girl in her classroom. I loved seeing her with all her friends and she loved having me with her. It is such a blessing to be able to be at my girls’ school week after week.
I can’t believe tomorrow is already Thursday, but I am so thankful this week is almost over. I am one exhausted mama, ready for the weekend.
Meal #1
After my morning workout, I got ready for the day then enjoyed a couple FlapJacked Protein Pancakes. These are delicious and each serving has 200 calories and 20 grams of protein. I have been adding in a tablespoon of pumpkin puree, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, 1/4 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract. I topped my pancakes with Walden Farms Syrup, another favorite of mine. This is such a delicious and easy way to start my day.
Meal #2
Since, I ate breakfast so early I was hungry again by 9:30 and I knew I was going to have a late lunch so I heated up some salsa chicken to make a quick and delicious taco. It was filling and hit the spot.
Meal #3
After getting home from school I was starving so I made a couple of my favorites, a beef taco salad with a mini serving of homemade nachos using homemade tortilla chips.
Meal #4
A couple hours later I ate a poach egg on an english muffin. This is such a tasty and filling snack.
Meal #5
We had Crescent Chicken Rollups, one of our favorites. The best part is we all love it, well everyone except McKayla and McKenzie, but those two don’t like anything, so it’s still a win-win. This is a meal Sophia gets excited about and I love that it is such a healthy mix of protein and carbs.
I ended my night with a Reese’s peanut butter cup, pumpkin shaped of course. The shapes are SO much better, end of story.
Throughout the day I also ate a banana, kiwi, and a cup of Pop Daddy’s Kettle Corn.
