Hello, Hello
I can’t believe it’s Monday has come and gone already. We had such a wonderful weekend. Steve and I had a great time at the football game, dinner, relaxing and simply enjoying time just the two of us.
The girls had a blast at Mimi and Papa’s house. I heard all about riding in their new golf cart, playing in the leaves, eating baked French toast, and so much more. Mimi and Papa just bought a golf cart and our girls couldn’t be more excited; it’s their new toy. Haha!! And oh how Sophia has been wanting to play in the leaves forever, but we don’t have enough in our yard so I am so glad she finally got her wish.
Mimi and Papa met us at church with our girls the next day. Then we spent the afternoon relaxing. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. But, I must say it was very difficult sending Sophia to school this morning I just felt like I didn’t get time with my big girl and she felt the same. But, tonight was dance night and we had some alone time.
Sunday night dinner was delicious and one of our all time favorites. I can’t believe I haven’t made it in so long. You can see the similar recipe here, but I revised it to make it even easier and I will post the new recipe tomorrow. The best part is I can make one dinner for everyone. I can’t wait to share it with you; I know you will love it as much as we do.
Oh my goodness, I am beyond thankful to be mentioned on CloudMom as a blog to read while preparing for twins. I can’t even tell you how much this means to me. I started this blog to connect with and help other moms, as well as learn a lot myself. Being a mom can be very lonely, but when we have each other it makes this most difficult job all that much easier. I am so thankful for all of you.

- Tell me about your weekend.
Your girls are way too cute!
Weekends spent as a couple are always the best! We actually spent the weekend away from home in vacation in Norfolk Island and it was so relaxing and just what we needed!
I bet your girls will remember playing with their Mimi and Papa for years to come – one of my fondest childhood memories is my Pa raking up leaves in our backyard one fall and scooping them into a box, only to dump them all out for me to jump and play in!
Thank you. Weekends away are always the best and such a great refresher. They love spending time with Mimi and Papa and I love watching their relationships blossom. 🙂 Playing in the leaves is what childhood is all about.
