and I HATE (I don’t use this word lightly) the time change. Seriously, my girls have been waking up early since we turned our clocks back; yes it’s only been two mornings but man these early wake ups are no fun. Usually, we slowly introduce the time change the week before, but last week was so crazy for us that didn’t happen this time.
On a happier note we had an AMAZING Halloween; our girls are all at such fun ages. They loved carving pumpkins and trick-or-treating. It all began with Sophia’s class party and the Boo Bash (which Sophia wrote a letter explaining why she needed to go).
McKenzie and McKayla were attached to their Auntie Ade which made this Mama very happy. She is the best!!
Sunday morning, our girls were exhausted so we made sure to relax A LOT!!
We did take a brief pause from our resting and spent a wonderful afternoon at Nana’s house. Family time is very important to us and we really enjoyed seeing everyone. She had a fun crafts table set up; our girls didn’t move the entire time. 🙂
And the best part about Halloween being over….. is that it’s almost CHRISTMAS!! Oh how we love everything about it, from the music to the decorations we just can’t get enough of the holiday season!!
{Thank you Katie for hosting Marvelous in My Monday}
I am always asked about how we deal with the candy overload and it’s pretty easy, we simply teach our girls everything in moderation. I talk more about it here.

Looks like a great holiday!
I AM NOT READY FOR CHRISTMAS. Bring on the turkey and stuffing before all that mess.:)
So much fun. I am not a huge fan of Thanksgiving food. I love spending time with my family though; that is the best part about holidays. 🙂
