So, today we said good-bye to a wonderful husband, son, uncle, and friend. Listening to all of the love and admiration was absolutely amazing. He was truly loved and will always be loved by many people. My heart is broken for his wife, parents, sister, extended family, and the many friends he made throughout his 33 years. My heart breaks for him as well. My heart breaks that he was taken from this world far too soon. But, we all know he is in a better place. I can’t even begin to imagine losing a child, a husband.
With all this tragedy it has truly showed me that life is short. We must embrace every moment and live in the present. Our friend did this throughout his life each and everyday. He loved life and lived it to the fullest. So, hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight and remember that life is short live in the moment. We cannot pick when we leave this world so embrace those you love.
With all that sadness. I want to take a minute and join Katie for Marvelous in My Monday. One thing I learned today is embrace the happy moments and don’t focus on the sad ones.
Marvelous is…
cutting down our Christmas tree. This year was one of our best years in a long time. The weather was warm and our girls our at wonderful ages. McKenzie loved running around acting goofy and of course McKayla loved to be held and snuggle. Sophia and Isabella had a blast choosing the perfect tree.
