MIMM # 54

Good evening everyone. I hope you had a wonderful day; we sure did over here. The weather was beautiful, the girls were happy, and life was good.

We had a nice and relaxing weekend. I don’t have too many pictures since we seriously didn’t do much and I loved every minute of it. I was actually able to clean my house; which felt wonderful. Our girls were happy and that is all I need.

Since, it is Monday it is time for another Marvelous in My Monday.

Marvelous is…

my mom, who is spending the night with us for a couple nights while Steve is out of town. She actually insisted on sleeping in the twins room so I could get some uninterrupted sleep. Isn’t she amazing? I know I say this all the time, but I don’t know what I would do without her. Thank you mom for all you do for us. We wouldn’t survive without you.

Marvelous is…

our wonderful dinner. We made a new recipe this weekend and it was delicious. Seriously, I think it was our favorite baked chicken recipe. One thing I did do differently was simply use a honey BBQ sauce and didn’t add any extra honey and instead of smoked paprika (I didn’t want it too spicy I wanted the girls to eat it) I used Italian seasoning, besides that I followed the recipe exactly and it was perfect. I cannot wait to make this again ASAP!!

Marvelous is…

getting our lives in order. Well at least as much as I can with four little ones. I have started with a simple hanging file organizer. I am using this for papers for Sophia’s school and stuff for me.

I have so many more ideas for how we are going to slow get our lives back in order. My next plan of attack is the laundry room/mud room. We have a laundry room right my the garage door that I would like to double as a mud room, but this will take some work on my part. I will keep you updated on what I decide.

Marvelous is…

getting a good start on planning our girls’ parties. Sophia and Isabella’s is in a month and McKenzie and Mckayla’s is a couple weeks after that. Oh my!! It hasn’t really hit me yet, but I have ordered invitation so at least that is a start. Details to come.
