MIMM # 27 – Halloween Fun Weekend

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you have all had a great weekend. We had some wonderful family time.

MiMM

I am linking up with Katie again for Marvelous in My Monday. I love thinking back at all the marvelous things in my life. Thank you Katie.

Saturday was a busy day, we woke up and headed out to the mall with all six of us. It is quite the ordeal getting us all out the door, but we had a great time. McKenzie and McKayla were is such good spirits they slept for a little bit, then they were awake looking at everything. They are becoming very curious. Our Sophia and Isabella were wonderful as usual; they could have stayed and shopped all day. It is always nice to have family outings, but it knocks me out every time. Family trips are exhausting.

Saturday evening we went over to Steve’s dad’s house to celebrate his sister and brother-in-law’s birthday. The girls had so much fun playing with their cousins.

Bella loves to be with her mommy (I’m not going to lie I love how attached we are to each other). I love when she only wants mommy and I love that there are many things only mommy can do. My girls are my life and that makes everything worthwhile.

Isabella was being a cutie-pie sitting with me while I nursed the babies.

Sunday we had no plans which was marvelous because quite frankly I was still tired from Saturday’s festivities. However, I knew we had to get to the store and try to get Sophia another Halloween costume. For the past month or so Sophia has told us that she wanted to be Rapunzel; which she was last year so she was simply going to wear the same costume. But, that would have been too easy, she woke up Saturday morning and decided she wanted to be Ariel. Since, we never bought her one this year I told her I would do my best and try to make that happen.

Sunday afternoon Sophia, McKenzie and I headed out to the Disney store. This was the first time we decided to divide the twins; we divided and conquered. Typically we have either taken them both or neither one. But, I have to say it was quite an easy trip with McKenzie and Sophia and it was a lot of fun. I love spending time with my girls. However, I did miss my McKayla and Isabella. One of these days I am going to take all four girls out with me alone. I am not sure when, but soon.

Having fun on Disney store.

We had a marvelous weekend filled with some tasty eats.

After Isabella woke up from her nap on Sunday Steve cleaned out the pumpkins for us (we won’t carve them until Tuesday).

We baked some yummy pumpkin seeds.

I made my first crock-pot meal EVER and it was delicious and way too easy. I can’t wait to use it again. I love how I out all the ingredients in and when it was time to eat I didn’t have to do anything!!

And I think I finally figured out a marvelous pumpkin waffle recipe (coming this week).
