In a single word.. YES!!
If you are just starting out with counting macros I highly recommend hiring a coach. There are so many number possibilities that you could use, but where do you start? It is different for everyone.
As you know I hired Quincey, @iheartmacros, 12 weeks ago and it was one of the best health decisions I have made for myself. Seriously, I have learned more about myself and my eating in these past 12 weeks then I have learned in my entire adult life.
There are so many ways to manipulate macros, hiring someone is a great way to help you figure out what works for you.
In the past 12 weeks my body has changed more then it has over the last 10 years (after recovering from my eating disorder). For so many years I would work out and never see results, but since starting with Quincey my body has changed in ways I never thought possible, especially after having 4 kids.
By no means do I think I was heavy before, but with my love for all things health and fitness I really wanted to take my body to the next level. And honestly, it has been so much easier then I ever thought it would be. I didn’t have to give up any of my favorite foods. I mean seriously, I ate a chocolate chip every day for a week, some days two. I simply made my favorite treats/foods fit into my macros. NOTHING IS OFF LIMITS.
Once you figure out your portions it’s EASY.
