Today was day 2 of the 21 Day Fix Extreme workout and nutrition program. So far I am loving it. But, I had a couple difficulties the first day.

  1. Plyo is the first workout of the week and it was tough. But I loved it and my legs are so sore; best feeling ever!!
  2. I am used to having a sweet treat at one point during the day, but I have cut that out and I must say today (day 2) I hardly even miss it. It just goes to show that you can train your taste buds. These couple of days have proven to me something I already knew; that the way we eat is partly mostly out of habit.

Things I am loving about the 21 Day Fix Extreme (21DFX):

  1. I love that the nutrition plan includes a ton of veggies. I have had a huge salad each day and I can’t believe I forgot how much I loved them.
  2. The amount of protein that I have added into my diet in these two days is crazy. My protein intake has jumped about 40 grams!!
  3. I am not even missing my sweet treats; okay I may be a little bit. 🙂
  4. The 30 minute workouts. The 21 DFX workouts are half the time of my old ones, yet I am still so sore. It’s great!! I love that I can get an intense workout in, in half the time.
  5. I love the simplicity of the containers; I will talk more about this tomorrow.
  6. This plan is making me think about my snacks. I am eating much more mindfully. I have stopped grabbing a cracker here and there. I make sure that I am truly hungry before I reach for something to eat.

All and all I am loving this entire program and I am so excited to see where it takes me in the next few weeks. Tomorrow, I show you a day on the 21 Day Fix Extreme nutrition plan; much easier then I anticipated.
