Friday Favorites # 1 (Fresh Start)

Good evening everyone. I can’t believe it’s Friday. Where did this week go? Where have all our summer weeks gone? We are coming upon our last week of summer and I am very sad. I know I should be more excited to be sending two of my four girls off to school, but for some reason I just have this awful feeling in my stomach. I just don’t feel good about being without Sophia and Isabella every day, all day long.

I am so excited to join Heather with Friday Favorites again. I used to link up every week, but some reason got off track. I have so many favorite products, accessories, toys, clothing, etc. to share with you.

Some of my favorite things these days:

Pool days with my girls will always be a favorite of mine. And let me tell you we have had a lot of these days this summer; the weather has been perfect. I will never get tired of swimming with my girls.

This summer we made it a goal to visit various parks/playgrounds throughout the city and it has been so much fun. This week we revisited one of our favorites with Mimi, of course. Seeing my girls smile is top on my favorites lists and that will never change.

Watching theses two sleep is one of my favorite things to do for a couple of reasons. 1) It took them a long time to finally sleep through the night. 2) They are just so precious. Believe it or not 9 out of 10 times when we check on McKayla and McKenzie we find them sleeping in the exact same position.

As most of you know, I try to have a salad every single day and I usually do (not because I feel as though I have too, but because I want too). Lately, I have become obsessed with tuna salad and it’s so simple to make. It is literally a can of tuna and a couple pieces of bacon on chopped lettuce. I put 3 tablespoons of light miracle whip on my tuna first. It’s delicious, full of protein and so filling. As you know it is not healthy to eat tuna every day (due to mercury levels), so I try to limit it to 3 times a week. I have a salad every day, but change up the type of protein I use.
