Steve and I spent the weekend in Denver, CO with our little Maizy (Fran and Sarah too). We had so much fun. We spent most of our time holding our sweet baby girl, but we also enjoy some delicious food and time with my brother and sister-in-law. I don’t remember the last time we actually spent this much time just us and I truly enjoyed every minute. I can’t wait to see our little girl again.
As much as this weekend away was needed, once I got away I missed my girls like crazy. Seriously, I missed them so much. I hate being away from my girls, but I do know whenever I get away and come home I am a much better mama; refreshed and ready to go. Which is a good thing because this is dance recital week with a lot of rehearsals and shows, but I must admit I love it. I love all the excitement of putting on a show and so do my girls. This is one of our favorite weeks. I love seeing the excitement on their sweet faces. Next year all four of our girls will be dancing. So much fun!!
