I forgot how much I love roller coasters. During, our last several trip to Disney World I was either pregnant or we had two babies, so I wasn’t able to ride a roller coaster. But, this time I had my little buddy, Sophia, and we had a blast. I just love the thrill of a good roller coaster.
I was so excited to share one of my favorites, Splash Mountain, with Sophia. It really is the best being able to experience all these amazing things with my oldest daughter, my little friend. Sophia is as such a fun age. I just love spending time with her. She still talks about Splash Mountain to this day, usual in respects to the fact that she did it. Halfway through the ride I wasn’t so sure she liked it, but looking back she loved having fun with her Mama, Mimi and Papa and she loved that she actually made it through something that completely terrified her. She loved learning it’s okay to be scared.
Oh and I completely forgot how wet you get on Splash Mountain. Right after this picture was taken water came rushing to my face and I was soaked. Ha!!
After we conquered Splash Mountain, we hurried over to the Seven Dwarfs Mine Ride; this was definitely a favorite. Steve actually gave it a try, but he wasn’t so sure he liked it (roller coasters are not really he thing).
These pictures make me laugh. I wish we were back in Disney.
Our girls #1 ride was the Carousel. I can’t even begin to count how many times we rode that ride, but our girls loved every minute of it and that made us happy. And I must say once I decided to ride with them it really is fun.
We all loved the Ariel ride. It is just like taking a trip into the movie.
And Buzz Lightyear was just so much fun, even little McKayla got in to it.
You can’t have a trip to Disney World without taking a ride on It’s a Small World. Well to be honest at first I said I could skip this ride, but I am so glad we went on it. Our girls loved it and the music, water, and colors just make you happy.
The Safari at Animal Kingdom is ALWAYS a favorite.
Of course, there were a few rides we went on that I didn’t get pictures of, such as the Barnstormer. This is a roller coaster that allows children as little as 35 inches, so little McKayla wanted to give it a try. I actually, went up the line with Sophia and Mimi took Isabella and once we got to the top Sophia decided it wasn’t for her, but all of a sudden Papa brought McKayla up and she wanted to go. Oh my!! Our little 36 inch peanut went on her first roller coaster and liked it. But, as soon as we came to the end she wanted her sissy. The Barnstormer really is a perfect started roller coaster. It’s a little fast, but it’s over in less then a minute.
Another ride we loved was the speedway. Sophia and Isabella loved driving around the track in the go carts.
Seriously, when I look at these pictures I just want to go back. We truly had one amazing trip with our girls.
